Remote play not working on non-steam games anymore

ISSUE
Can't stream any non-steam games since the last update. The greyed-out button "install" is shown instead.

OS
Windows 11 and Fedora 42

Same issue going from Steam deck to a Windows PC and vice versa. Either a greyed-out install button or it can't find the non-steam games at all.

Also, you can still connect to a running game, but you cannot initially launch it remotely. After connecting to a running game and then closing it, you can relaunch it remotely but not other non-steam games.
