Steam Recorder Fails

ISSUE:
For a very long time the steam recorder havent been working properly.
multiple reports, with various issues.
my issues is that it only works for some games, but now after i got a windows H2 update it completely fails. i can now only record between 10-50 seconds and when pressing record, it seems to ignore anything above. just 3 days ago i could record and export without any problems, from certain games, not all, as it simply doesnt record in all games.
i dont get with so many bug reports on it why there seems to be no fix still.
wanted to record a video but video recorder fails. even the record sound ,sounds strange.
it plays correct sound while starting to record. but if it fails no sound until closing the game. like its getting stuck or something. a week ago i could then just simply restart the game and do full recording. that seems impossible now. if i want to stop a recording it often dont play a sound, and shows no reaction at all. again, until i close the game. and then it displays a short video clip of like 20 seconds even i only pressed record and stop record after 30 min. still only records random 20-30sec. its weird.

OS
Windows 11 Pro / Nvidia Geforce RTX 4060 / I7 Gen14
(Opted out of Steam BETA as that is a total fail)

STEPS
Select any game.
IF the game is even possible to record from.
in my case i ususually record from a non steam game since all my steam games do not even react to any recording.
pres record. when done , press stop recording.
result being either short, none at all, or corrupted recordings.

EXPECTED
it worked..

example of games that do not react to recorder at all :
Enderal (Skyrim overhauled game), Theif, the entire elderscrolls series. Dirt rally series.
and many more. basically all my steam games. very few non steam games works.
i think Steam staff might be able to see what games i have. this is really frustrating as i had to discard making some walkthroughs and cant really show case mod works.
its just plain annoying tbh.

Background recording works, and some issues I have, improved in latest BETA.
But yeah, there are issues., some more serious than others.

I only play EA WRC. I have not been able to record manually at all. It's like the
assigned key is not working. No confirmations or error messages. I've tried to
assign different keys with no luck.

Ah, OK. if none of them works, that's sad. And frustrating...
Lets hope they fix these issues soon.
