[BUG] Steam causes Gnome Shell Crash with Typing Booster Enabled
ISSUE
Running Steam, Steam OSK while Typing Booster is enabled in Gnome causes Shell Crash

OS
Bazzite 41 (FROM Fedora Silverblue)

STEPS
Use Gnome OSK (Caribou) or enable ibus-typing-booster in system keyboard settings while Steam is running or Steam OSK is in use. Problem presents faster if touchscreen input is used.

RESULTS
Within seconds to minutes of Steam starting, Typing Booster being enabled or selected as input method while Steam is running, Steam OSK is used, or Caribou is opened the entire Gnome Shell locks up and crashes. This only happens when Steam is running an only started after the most recent beta update.

EXPECTED
Steam should not cause my DE to crash when using a different input method or predictive text/auto-correct e.i. ibus-typing-booster. There should be a toggle to disable text prediction in Steam OSK when such input method is turned on. Text suggestions in Steam OSK should continue text input inline like all other inputs when predictive text/auto-correct is turned on rather than inputting nothing until a suggested word is tapped.

I believe I'm having a similar issue, not really sure if it's related but when I open Steam from the top bar, sometimes it's not full-screen and when I interact with the window, like moving it around, resizing it... GNOME freezes and then crashes. I'm on Ubuntu 24.04.
