PS5 DualSense controller, Cannot get Steam to display battery bar despite it being turned on.
There appears to be a bug that is preventing Steam from displaying the PS5 DualSense controllers battery level.

I have the Battery Percentage (show battery percentage in header) switched to on but no battery bar/icon appears either in biog screen mode or normal mode.

I have updated the firmware on my controller and Steam is updated too.

Controller seems to work fine other than the cursor arrow being intermittent on Steam, sometimes its there sometimes it is not.

I have looked for answers but all I can find is forums and articles telling people how to enable the battery icon and a few.

I have seen a few other people complaining of the same issue but no fixes are recommended.

The battery in header setting is intended for Deck/Laptop batteries rather than controllers in general. We don't currently have a place where we display external gamepad battery levels

Are there any plans by valve to add a controller battery indicator so I can see my DualSense’s power remaining?

Crazy that we still don't have a solution for this (without using DS4Windows)

How hard is it to add a battery level indicator for controllers in Steam?
