Steam just ate my steam points :c
Steam just ate about 1k of my steam points is that normal? Did it happen to any of you?
i haven't done any refund in ages, i was just saving to get a new steam profile.

When you buy a Steam Profile you spend points. You just paid 1000 Steam Points for a new profile.

No no, but that's the thing, i didn't get anything, i mean i'm still saving for the profile. Matter of fact yesterday i had 53 awards and now i only have 50...

Have you refunded a game recently? If someone refunds a game, they also lose whatever Steam points they got via purchasing it. It also removes any awards that were purchased with those points.

The person who sent the awards could have refunded the games where the points were awarded to them to use OR they could have reset their password which also revokes recently given awards they sent out.

This was exactly what happened with me, and then the guy just unfriend me and run away. Be careful with who you trade cause there's this trash people among us unfortunately.
