About the image uploader
Question, the images that are uploaded , from this upload manager as show in the screenshot below, if I click to delete any image with or without the Cloud symbol at it's bottom right corner, does it delete it off my computer from the images folder


OR

Does it delete from the folder and my steam uploaded imaged as well so I lose the snapshot forever?

In the past before steam updated it, deleted images only deleted from the folder and not steam.

I recently had an issue 2 months ago had a bunch of starwars outlaws images disappear when I deleted it off this manager.

My thankfulness for anyone to answer this question.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us with your question.

Deleting the screenshots from your screenshots manager will lead to their deletion in both Steam cloud and manager.

The only way to delete the screenshot locally without affecting the cloud file is accessing the screenshots manager, right-clicking the screenshot in question and choosing show on disk. In this new folder manually delete the screenshot. This way the file will be removed from your PC but the cloud file will still appear in your Steam profile.

If you want to restore the file, you will need to redownload the cloud file from the profile and paste it in the folder of the game again.
