Notification sound for friend request [suggestion]

Please add a notification sound for friend requests and trade offers

It would help a lot of people who trade. This target group is pretty big; TF2 traders, card traders, Dota 2, CS:GO and such. The current non-sound notification isn't helpful when you are watching TV or have your eyes somewhere else at that second.

And if someone is afraid of spam or abuse, it can be turned on/off in settings

Simple program already supports this feature, but steam is still behind. That program has other limitations, but it shows how simple it is to support it.

I'm supporting this. There should be sounds for all types of notifications (post on your profile, trade offer, etc) that can be toggled on and off. I don't think it would be hard to implement and it would be incredibly useful.

I started a thread about this in 2011 and didn't get much support from the trading community or valve. I'm glad more people are wanting this feature like me.
