Still no Apple Silicon native build?
Is there somewhere specific for feedback on the Mac beta?

Failing that, some initial feedback:
  1. Still not Apple Silicon native? I was sure that must have been the reason for the mac version being later than all the others. ☹️
  2. Windows UI elements? (minimise, maximise, close, etc) 🙁
  3. Clicking on the main heading for each section ('Store', 'Library', 'Community', <username>) no longer seems to take me to the home page for that section. Instead I have to point to Store then Featured, or Library then home, etc. Surely this isn't the intended behaviour?
  4. When I first started the app (though I can't now seem to replicate it), Steam locked the macOS menubar. I couldn't click on anything, even the Apple menu, which usually remains accessible if an App menu becomes unresponsive. I had to switch to an alternate desktop to gat anything working.

Valve is lazy. They even won't do native x86_64 client on Windows.

I'm guessing because there aren't many at all apple silicon native games anyway, so they assume you are fine with Rosetta. I have made it a point not to install Rosetta and find new apps for anything that can't/won't create native apps. Steam is one of them. Of course I still use it on my gaming PCs, but I wouldn't mind playing a few games when traveling or something with my macbook.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
