Shift + Tab black screens my pc
I don't know whats been going on with this recently but for maybe the past week or so my PC will black screen if I shift + tab too many times or too quickly. I assume this is just a bug steam will fix in the near future but its starting to get on my nerves a little bit. If anyone does have a temporary fix please don't be shy to reply to this. :finnsword:

I got this 3 times already.
One time with the game Guilty as Sock, two times with PEAK. At first, I thought there were issues with the games but I kinda think it's steam doing things and crashing the GPU. Do you also get black screens et you can't do anything except powering off the PC ? Because that's what's happening to me and it gets pretty tedious when i'm also streaming a game.

I also do get black screens forcing me to hard power off my computer, I only got my new PC around 2ish years ago if that so its obviously not a hardware issue. Its been about two to three weeks this has been happening with steam. It's also not game specific as well as It has happens to me mid game Fallout 76 as well. Some people say the fix is to "turn steam overlay off" but I find it more convenient than alt tabbing out of a game (especially a source game). Hopefully they fix this issue in the near future as mine and probably many other's PC's do not like to be shut down by holding the button as its kind of like a hard stop onto it. :FrogPepe:

Try deactivating "Activate accelerated GPU render for web views" or something like that in your steam Interface settings, it should do the trick (seen some people with similar issues on Reddit) !

Alright I set this setting for now, I will reply in about 2-3 days in this thread if that doesn't do the trick! Thanks for the tip btw!
