Can your software be independent of Chrome?
You always force us to upgrade the system. Is it really that difficult to develop a pure Windows platform version?

impossible at this point, the entire steam ui runs off a chrome CEF instance, the native ui is long gone. If you feel bad about this, consider that before chrome it used to run an internet explorer element in the ui instead....

Thank you for the insight. I wish there would be a native Windows Legacy Steam client that would just support downloading and running bought single player games and unlocking achievements. Since Steam Deck this is less an issue, though. Hope the support for Steam Deck will never be dropped or a legacy client for that. :D

This Is Why Valve Is Losing Customers,
Their Frequently Losing People All The Time...

Their Neglegance Against People Is Costing Them Hard Problems...

It Would Only Take Me A Simple Task To End Their Neglagence...

If I Get It Running, You'll See How Fast Things Turn Around, ~_~
