I had set "Record In Background" to 5 mins (mostly because I don't commonly use Auto but if I would, smallest 5 mins is sweetspot), then switched to "Record Manually", which I expected the full time of because there was no relevant UI about recording time.
So I recorded for an Hour but only got up to that 5 mins right before I stopped recording.
Didn't know it used settings from "Record In Background".
Looking around in Steam Support or the Record promotion page was also misleading until I found this post with the same qualms.
Well, back to OBS.
