New Option Needed - Hide On Screen Cursor
The problem with steam recorder is it shows the on screen in game cursor when recording. It would be good if there was an option in it to hide the in game on screen cursor like Bandicam does. Bandicam has this awesome option to hide the cursors in game so you dont see it in any games, why can't steam recorder have that?

When I recorded my boss battle earlier in grim dawn using steam recorder you could seethe in game cursor all over the screen while I was battling the boss, if I had used Bandicam instead you wouldnt see the in game cursor all over the screen.

Please implement one!

Agreed, I was playing Ghost of Tsushima on Steam Deck with Windows 11 and the cursor appeared in my video. I hope they add this option.

In my grim dawn output all you could see was the hand icon all over the screen where I was clicking, BANDICAM doesnt do this, it has hide cursor. I mostly use Bandicam now for game recording, it has so many good and great options but sometimes it interferes with other games.

Ive tried so many different recorders and had issues with them all. STEAM recorder just records games, no options to hide or unhide in game cursor, no option to change the sound when recording stops or starts, I can hardly tell the difference in steam recorder

I agree completely. OBS provides the option to disable "cursor capture". Steam Recording needs this feature as well.
I have recorded quite a few games with Steam Recorder and when I saw the output, the cursor was all over the screen, making the recording look rubbish, I believe Shadows Awakening had this happen :(
