Often getting "an error occured while playing this saved recording"
No issues with the application i am recording.

No issues with disc space.

Just seemingly random occurrences where the recording just isn't available. Furthermore, once the issue is there, i can go forward and backwards and get the same error in content i have already* confirmed and watched being recorded.

Clips are also behaving strangely once this starts to happen, and it all kinda moves south from there.

It is a shame, because this is a super useful feature. But with the current bugs, it will soon go on the "collecting dust" shelf, never to be used again.

- And to further decrease incentive to using steam recording, if the game crashes while recording or working on a recording (which seems to happen much more often while working on one - aka a steam issue rather than a game issue), the recorded period is lost and you wasted your time.

And please don't get me wrong. I'd much rather have this feature than shadowplay or using OBS or similar recording software.

But, it is kind of a moot point if it doesn't work half the time or crashes the applications you are recording.

Also, it would be nice to have a choice of how long it is recording rather than the set 2 hours. For me personally, i'd want an option just for the past 10 minutes for clipping bugs or highlights. For content creators, they may want a larger window than 2 hours. However, they will probably use OBS or similar for that instead.
