[HELP] Can Steam show the FPS counter in recorded videos?
Hey folks — quick question:

I’ve enabled Steam’s FPS overlay (top left in green for me and it works great during gameplay), but I just realized that when I record gameplay using Steam’s built-in Replay/Clip capture, the FPS doesn’t show up in the final video.

🟢 Example: While playing, I see “183 FPS” in green in the top left (see image: https://i.imgur.com/d6AA85f.png).
🔴 But when I watch the saved video, there’s no FPS counter visible at all.

Is there a way to force Steam to capture that FPS overlay in recordings? Or is this simply a limitation of the new Game Recording feature?

If it’s not possible, any good third-party alternatives that can record the FPS overlay into the output video? I use Steam's built-in recorder because it’s so fast and integrated, but I'd love to capture performance stats too.

Thanks in advance!
