how do i stop steam from making a file on my desktop every time i play a game
every time i start a game it makes a file called gamercording.pb and a folder called timelines on my desktop even tho i disabled background recording, it didnt do it before i turned on game recording to test it, how do i disable it i only want to record with the keys i set up

ive been bringing this up for a while now and nothing its getting done about it. its very annoying. its akin to a malware that you cant stop. like microsoft gamebar. mandatory to have it run if want xbox to work. why do these companies think we wanted any of this? i think its just another way for them to spy and collect advertising info.
