What do you think about the below Automatic Show mockup as a direction?
This one → https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/store/labs/ultracast/video_temp/whats_on_steam_tv.mp4

Is it easier to watch? Distracting? More useful? More cluttered?

I find it easier to watch and discracting. I just think it could be better if we could see some gameplay.

I´d find it better if the show played niche games or small indie titles as most players know and already play for example PUBG but was easy to watch

It's nice idea
очень классная идея. только стоит сделать это в виде новостей с комментариями ведущих выпуск. было бы вообще круто если сделать озвучку для каждого из основных регионов по типу англ. ру. чайн.

Huge improvement; really like the style and speed; free weekend games / free to keep games should be a nice playlist too

it's a great idea to keep working in this direction:Rockout:

I liked the video, but to be honest, the original 25 min. video, without voice-over, and with a quick succession of footage, is still my favourite.
I discovered several games I want to try through it. :)
It was really awesome and helpful to have easily, clickable links to the displayed games.

I think you should proceed with these bot generated videos, with just short clips of each game (as they are), and without a voice-over.
Maybe split the 25-30 min. format into shorter 5-10 min. videos, each for a different genre/category of games (while keeping the option of watching the whole thing, for those who enjoy a longer format), and release them weekly, for example.

I really hope this idea isn't abandoned, because it's something I found very enjoyable, and genuinely helpful. It's a nice, quick, showcase, especially for smaller developers.

If you want to add a human element to this format, as some sort of "show", allow me to make a crazy suggestion: consider doing something like "The 1up Show" did a few years ago.
Hire a handful of people (or select some community/PR people already at Valve), to make a weekly video podcast/show talking about upcoming games, what's "hot" on Steam, maybe a couple of quick interviews with the developers of some of these games. All, while showing trailers and footage.
I loved watching The 1up Show, and I would totally love to have a similar weekly show covering what's happening on Steam, both currently and in the future, since much of the video coverage online mostly covers consoles, and not really the PC, and Steam in particular.

I know the idea of this experiment was to just have automatically created video content, and Valve mostly likes process automation, but something like I mentioned above would be an awesome way to showcase the store/platform, and what it offers.

would be better with more actual gameplay

Very good

The time for each game is too short, I can't even figure out what they are about and it skips to the next one. Also it's mostly trailers.
