Some quick thoughts on animated show
1. Way too long - I don't really feel like watching 25 minutes of recommendations which aren't really recommendations but just clip compilations.
1a. It might actually work if there were a contents menu where I could skip to categories I cared about. Like jumping to the "Curator recommended" part of the video or what have you.

2. Categorizing by tags doesn't feel very useful for me. The tags are overused, and so you end up with action games trending as roguelikes and apparently some lewd anime puzzle game falls under strategy. (The strategy category in particular seemed like an absolute mess of random stuff.) If you intend to use tags for these videos, they'd have to be cleaned up to be actually meaningful.

3. If you jump ahead in the video, the game link does not always update until the next time the video switches to another game.

4. Some of the clips listed are either out of date ("Available July 4th!") or in a foreign language. The former might be more on devs, but it would be wise for this feature to at least identify the language a video is in (and perhaps also whether or not it's gameplay audio if possible - short clips of devs talking about their game might not work well in this feature).
4a. It does seem to do a reasonably decent job of not starting a clip mid-sentence, though it does occasionally cut off a sentence.

I personally like the concept of it, however I agree that the length is a bit much. If it was a weekly show the length would be fine for me, but as a daily show it should be limited to around 5 minutes.
