Some proposed refinements
So far this proves to be an interesting proof of concept and I'd like to see where it goes. Here are some of my thoughts on the matter.

A big 30min episode is inconvenient to have to sit through in one sitting. Suggestion to help mitigate this would be to add youtube-style time-stamps for each section of the show so that viewers could search through the video for sections they're actually interested in with less effort. In addition, features like an optional text summary including the names of all the games shown in the programme might be quite useful, particularly with regards to people who have difficulties with sight but have some form of narrator programme that allows them to parse text.

One thing that occurs to me is that this will also suffer from the underlying categorisation problem when it comes to games, so that deeper problem will need to be tackled if we don't want to start seeing unrelated porn games showing up everywhere in sections they don't apply.

The show format is also a bit dry. If it is possible, it would probably be quite interesting to select a few games every show and give a slightly more detailed breakdown for those than the 6-second videos we'll likely get for the rest of it. Of course, that will be quite difficult to do algorithmically so the practicability of this suggestion is very much not where we're at, at this stage. It should be mentioned that the 4-panel view works very well for this feature; that's a lot of information that gets communicated very quickly for a first impression.

In all, this is a very interesting potential application to me. My personal thoughts are that it'd probably be better to have a monthly or fortnightly roundup, rather than a daily setup for this if it's brought forward, because I imagine people would get kind of burnt out on all of these if they happened too often; it's likely they'd get very stale very quickly.

UPDATE: The second phase of changes with some shorter shows looks quite promising. Splitting the big show into some smaller ones for digestible viewing is good for consumption in a way that lets people pick what they watch, too. The large one still has its place for big events, like, say, the steam awards or a steam sale. I'm not particularly fond of the three-second one myself, it's a bit too hectic and it feels like it diminishes the amount of information about the game I can get out of it.
