Also, taking a look to the automatic show i see a problem, is not very clear, you can see the title of the game, the trailer, music, and gameplay, but if you don´t know tha game you wont know what the game is about (Shooter, rpg, etc.)
I think that its a little Saturated, Some music and a voice saying "This game is (rpg, shootes) developed by (Studio) published by (Publisher) and Its Characteristics (Multiplayer, Co-op, Single player) and specs (About how much you have to push that potato with motitor you call computer to run that game) will be enough
It seems to have done well in that regard so far.
I'm sort of curious what it was like with the more robotic voice.
If that isn't going to be an option in the near future, for example the voiceover is unfinished but the scripts are tangible, then it may be worth while adding closed captions, because I'd like to see what the automation would generate.
To be honest, I'm not sure if this would work out on a regular basis. A lot of people might already consume other sources to keep themselves updated (including reviews to each game).
I think this would work perfectly as a overview/preview for specials, as steam summer sales or publisher events, but not as a regular store update.
I didnt like the quad view, made me feel sick.
For games like "my friend pedro" it had a perfect trailer for quad viewing,
but for "totally reliable delivery service" and "sekiro" the quad view was uncomftarble because "totaly reliable" had a quad view in their own trailer and "sekiro" had a lot of text. Games like light novel and rpg games were litteraly ruined because the plot was sliced into 4 pieces at unknown spots
Quad view is good for showing multiple actions/features but if consistancy of the video is importand then it ruines the trailer completly
Letting the trailer uploaders define what spots of their trailer may be shown in random order may help in reducing my problem
This was the biggest problem for me
so a feature to be able to click on the video and pause the playback and jump to store page for that game then resume when focus is back or a way to quickly mark a game for closer review later if something catches your intrest
