Journalistic media already has everybody covered in numerous formats.
The only way you could compete procedurally is if you invented an advantageous new format, pushed the complexity of coverage very far and aggregated materials from the traditional outlets as they do to each other.

Considering the phenomenon of Valve Time, I am skeptical you could pour enough man*hours into this project to go the distance required in time to catch up with journalistic coverage.
