anyone able to replicate my profile pic?
ive been trying for a few days now but no luck, i uploaded a gif file and i think it was 183x183 pixels big. also since they changed the way you upload avatars now, it might be impossible. before the "cropping in the steam client"-update i was able to upload a picture that set alpha to black in the big picture and to white in the small pictures

i dont know, i also uploaded this picture like 2-3 years ago. its changed in cmyk or something. It was showing empty on the friend list before the steam ui update and also still doesnt show in any game. Is this still possible tho ?

I doubt it, unfortunately I deleted the original file that I uploaded shortly after, too

I found that you can still do that, just the profile page avatar thing doesnt allows it.
You can just use minimaledit (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/idhere/minimaledit)
