It would be possible, and actually we already do have a system in place that allows for easy creation of different types of busters that would be randomly selected. We never really made any use of this, though, because the normal buster does what it's supposed to and everyone is already familiar with how it works.

Besides, if the buster was any bigger, it would be impossible for it to fit through certain areas, such as the tunnel on the first stage of Goldrush.

The Direct Hit Soldier changes effectively make it a slower, but more powerful version of the Huntsman giant, with specialization in almost always killing the things it hits and being the most effective giant against Engineer nests.

The Huntsman change was done because the arrow penetration was too powerful against Engineers and clusters of players in chokepoints. Before this change, the giant could quickly fire shots that could potentially instant kill multiple players and buildings at the same time, with no clear downside.

I chose to nerf it in this way so that it prevents it from being overkill in the right hands, while not really affecting the players who struggle to land Huntsman shots.

These changes effectively make the Super Sniper's primary weapon function as a scoped assault rifle. While the Super Sniper was potentially too powerful in the right hands before, it was mostly useless for players who struggled to hit their shots. The new design attempts to solve both of these issues.
