there is already a plugin to give a robot a flag but it doesn't give upgrades to that robot and it is invisible (a human robot can end up having it as well) and it cannot be deployed and if tank is there it's teleported to the tank

Flags aren't cool to create in a mvm map it add a second bomb hud that can confuse player like I said before capture are can do the work I guess

Yes in fact give a goal to red bot. Actuall if valve added a capture area, around the bot carrier, and that bot can't capture it, red bots should work perfectly in mvm, I don't understand why nobody did a plugin on? Maybe the nav can't be adapt for that kind of entities

Surprisingly yes, If you keep the payload logic yes, so the payload hud can be hide and red bot will work.

No and it's the problem :\ if server owner want to make it work they need a plugin(I did one)

But every pop did by a website work, only hatch, bomb alarm, upgrades station need to be created and it's really easy.
So yes you can run your wave on payload map.

My favorites maps with mvm are upward and badwater, because it's a open area so perfect for mvm.

But for come back about the question make bot work on payload map is easy, STT's creators can look into the source of MvT, and take it.
From what I recall thundermountain/goldrush/hoodoo/badwater work perfectly with my system giant captures point and deploy the bomb.
The only thing to fix is the wrong way on some map, and fix bug with spawns(thanks valve for haven't fixed it since 2-3 years!)

to turn a normal tf2 map into a mvm map you need 3 or more spawnpoints,robot waypoint props (the ones with the bomb carrier icon) a new nav file,a custom popfile (the wave file), a tank spawnpoint and a hatch prop
