Given the even low price now with permanent price reduction I would say even if you worry about anything particular about the title, get it anyway. It's definitely worth the low price now with final patch! :)

What drew me to this game in the first place is the art design (still obsessed finding all the best games with nicest art & music haha) and the relationship between the main character and "the friend". Story overall is not overly impressive but meaningful. I recall I defeated one boss and got stuck on one. Slightly too challenging for my taste nowadays in 2D games but not Souls like.

I played more of Possessor(s) and while I didn't reach to where I was with the demo, the janky feeling overall is reduced and map is more useful. I now recall the odd design choice to trigger a sprint after first dash. I thought that was a mistake for a platformer especially in late game with faster or non linear enemies moving around during platform sequences but it's just an early learning curve. Learning to dodge is a must even if there's a parry ability (always some enemies that have non parry attacks ofc hehe) and accepting some necessary backtracking that is more common than most MVs even if you unlock a fast travel system. There's a Easy and Normal difficulty. I chose Normal and no problems so far, I should have picked Easy if you can't change it in settings and I didn't look for it since I didn't struggle with it so far.. oh well. One thing to manage difficulty is to obsess about saving points so you can deposit the game's currency as you lose those if you die.

Leaked info that "game consoles" have been distributed to Valve warehouses, it's probably Steam Machine. Hopefully Frame arrives soon after.

People said it was limited and buggy but otherwise fun. It has a discount but I've other games to play, just thought if it was a decent or meh game or a hidden gem.

Only for a little bit. I wasn't sure what to think yet. Seemed a bit janky and bare-bones, but I haven't seen a lot of it yet.

There's 2 new KOTOR like games in development, one is an actual remake and the one called Fate is more like a spiritual successor that likely is intended to be its own game series if it takes off. Hopefully they make Outlaws 2 too. There's a 75% discount on Ubisoft but realized I want it on Steam for better integration with Frame & VR mod.

Trailer dropped for Star Wars Galactic Racer. After only 2 races in Mad Max I am ever so reminded I don't like them at all but the game sure looks good.

Heroes Olden Era EA is out! Price €30 for 2 weeks then €40.

Valve confirmed Steam Controller v2 releases May 4th at €99. Pros are magnetic sticks & charger, better rumble, low latency USB puck and USB C cable connection. It seems new trackpad placement is not ergonomic but interesting to hear upcoming reviews.

Hogwarts Legacy 2 rumours with multiplayer elements, story possibly tied to upcoming HBO TV series. Coop for the sequel is going to be amazing. Going to replay 1st game with Frame later too.

So I've been backing up Steam games. It's interesting how uneven the compression is. Space reduction for Death Stranding is zero, Van Helsing half and Ugly a surprising 90%. Not strange given different proportion of already compressed files though.

Finished Replaced. It was a great flipping game. Loved the setting and narrative, gameplay was also pretty good. Contender for GOTY so far with RE Requiem.

Own Nocturnal on GOG but always nice with controller oriented games on Steam. I've wanted to try Doomblade for a while but it looks too hard for my taste nowadays, good to try it though. :)

Finished The Council. Pretty fun investigative adventure game. Predecesor of Vampire Swansong since the two games use very similar mechanics. Story went places lol definitely some twists and turns. Quite enjoyable overall, even if the actual mechanics are not polished due to being low budget.

Nice to see Evil Genius 2 is as fun as the first one, they fixed early performance and balance issues although Super Agents still require creative trap combos. I haven't reached that far yet. Sintopia apparently even have game breaking bugs so I'm waiting with that.

Possible that Deus Ex 2 works in Win11 as I messed around with different monitors but just to be safe I'm playing it on my Win10 rig and it works well. Typical inventory problem, GUI doesn't scale well that HUD is in center when I prefer lower down corners but they take up less space on high resolutions so only minor issue. Going with Deus Ex GMDX mod next conveniently part of GOGs mod program.

Finished Fahrenheit. What a nonsense story that quickly goes off the rails, hahaha. This has to be the game with the worst QTE mechanics ever, some sequences last several minutes and are so tedious.
