Hello! It has been a while since I have been active in Space Engineers. That is mostly due to Real Life and other UESC Faction duties.

One of those duties is starting up a player base for our new Star Citizen Organization! We need new members who are willing to participate regularly in events and other multiplayer gameplay.

The reason it has always been world files is so that the judges don't have to download any mods themselves. With a world mods get downloaded automatically. Because this contest is vanilla it is ok (and better) to use blueprints instead of world files.

Just so everyone knows Keen DID NOT request a vanilla contest. They requested a PLANET related contest. I decided to do a vanilla contest so that there would not have to be world entries full of planets and mods. this is so that more people "with less powerful systems" can participate. Also it helps the judges who have to load every single "Modded planet world". That is why the submissions this time around are blueprints, so that the judges can have one planet world loaded with all the entries in their blueprint list.

I appreciate you guys putting together a wish list ahead of time, this is something I would like to see for every modded contest. However, contest No21 will be vanilla. Sorry if this upsets some of you, but being that many people will have to run planets to test their vehicles I believe mods will only make their system performance worse.

I am seing doubles?

Ok so we have one week left in this contest, and as such begins the voting for the nest contest. Now I have decided to do something a little different this time around. Something that we have never really thought about until now. The next contest will be about ground vehicles! But not just one vehicle. You will be required to build TWO vehicles!

There will be several different sets of vehicles to vote on, mostly military in style. Because there will be so many designs, there will be only two judging requirements for each vehicle. Therefore reducing the time it will take for the judging to take place.

Voting Topics:

-Light armored vehicle & Armored personnel carrier (Small grid)
-Scout vehicle & long range artillery (Small grid)
-Mobile Fortress & medium fighting vehicle (Large & Small)
-Personal transportation & Public Transportation (Small grid)
-Utility vehicle & "other" utility vehicle (Small grid. Think construction vehicles)
