"Your faction is desperate for resources, they lack the tech for gravity wepons, and have no magenesium for conventional weapons. In a last-ditch effort to save the galaxy(server) from certian occupation, you commission the best designers in the quadrant to build a fleet of combat ships that can fight the enemies of our empire using the most indgenous methods possible, due to our situation."

task- buid a combat ship that uses out-of-the-ordinary weapon systems (like blades, arms, grinders ,drills, clang weapons,etc)

banned items- rockets and rocket launchers, turrets, guns,explosives, gravity weapons.

all weapons must be designed to be used while attatched to the ship (no designed projetiles allowed)

ships would be judged by
looks
weapon design
and performance

what about a ramming ship, after all, almost all battles in SE end in a ramming?
Edit- what about a combat ship that does not use any explosives, guns or rockets, but only the ingenuity of the designer to add devastating weapons, through arms, landing gears,drills, grinders,blades, and wedges.
