#21 is 2 weeks in and all i can really say looking back is that building in vanilla, it feels weird.

it's different from norm, so that made it interesting, and interesting is good, but still felt weird.

I also been thinking about the submitting via blueprint vs world file. I'm starting to think the blueprints are a better option all the way around. It would ease A LOT of load times for the judges. and it would be easier on the others who check our stuff out. or someone is testing something for someone else, they already have the mods loaded in the world, just paste in the BP.

The only drawback im getting is sound / lcd image mods wouldn't get reproduced for judges if they didnt have them also. (i'm pretty sure but could be wrong, anyone confirm?)

It should be exactly that save yourself and the contestants all the headache. I don't know why you would subject yourselves to this every month.

I agree with the scurry, scramble and headache part, but not with the vanilla portion.
I think most realize I'm PRO mod. KSH very early in development was very clear about mods.
KSH requesting a vanilla contest make me go:

I'd love to see an easier way for Chucky and BA to deal with the contest mods each month but, honmestly, i can't think of a good alternative.

Only thing I came up with was having the poll at 2 weeks in and 1 week to get mod requests in, that leaves a week to sort through them and finalize the list. then the 1st hits and the contest drops what's on the list is what's on the list. if you didn't campaign hard enough to get mods you thought would be usefull, oh well, try harder next time.

But that raises the counter problem. "Eager Beavers". Finish early and you know what next months topic is, you could start early.

Good grief. i ran LAV and APC through the map. It's friggin torture. Probably went through a dozen each trying out the block vs voxel moguls....
my little foolin around dune buggy that's not part of the contest entry. now that was a blast...lol all over the place
