Playism has released Yume Nikki, the surrealistic free-to-play adventure game built in RPG Maker 2003 by indie Japanese developer Kikiyama and released for PC in 2004, on Steam.

Additionally, Kadokawa Corporation has opened countdown website for a new project titled “Yume Nikki: Dream Diary.” The countdown will end on January 25 at 14:00 JST. The Yume Nikki Steam page also shared the news.

It seems like when you start a group which is based in personal problems, or in dealing with them, or even just with a lot of people who have them, that will come to be the culture. And being the culture, that will also be what cool is. People will adopt gloom or at least wallow in it, show off to each other how many problems they have. And as it goes on it just gets more and more absurd and fragmented and silly. It exaggerates the problems that were already there. But at least you can get some decent friends out of it. Just gotta remember what's actually important.

I swear this group has actually gotten smaller... Last I checked, I'm pretty sure there was like 164 members--now there's only 160. God that's depressing.
