Any word on the second DLC that came out as of a couple of hours ago?

The DLC scales to your level. Though honestly it's not worth the money spent as it's rather short. It basically felt like Halloween release content they couldn't quite finish before the ship date. There's no new equipment and the bosses are a joke. I truly hope it is not representative of future content for the game.

Okay for that reason alone I may have to get the DLC. Whats the level range content wise? Anything worth looking at if you've finish Second Playthrough?

i actually got it to work, they have given us a serial code but you have to do some manuvering to enter it (unless they fixed it) this trick is when traveling to jackob's cove the moment you click the quick travel click shift-tab. When you see the little continue button cut through the screen minimize with ctrl-esc. then click borderlands again and it'll open the window the enter the info.

Also in the Dlc you find an echo recorder for a red-neck zomebie hunter, his name? Jethro!

don't buy the dlc yet! There is a problem in which it is still hooked up to securom and it will not play because we don't have a serial code.

I finally picked it up!. I'm only lvl 18 but this game has really grabbed me like few games have before.

got my second character to lv50, my Siren. I also finally got my hands on a skull smasher the otheday! its a sniper that shoots six bullets per shot, and it only takes one bullet

Level 43 now. Got a Class Mod for my Hunter that regens Pistol Ammo. Goes very well with my Orange repeater pistol that sets enemies on fire. I'll have to actually do multiplayer soon.

Yes, Borderlands uses the Unreal Engine 3. And for you aspiring game developers they have just released the Unreal Development Kit for free. Not too bad of licensing agreements if you want to use it for commercial purposes either.

This also means that weapons like Sledge's Shotgun are upgraded to level 50. Bricks rejoice!

Beat playthtough 2, and i found something out, when you beat playthrough 2 EVERY enemy in the game upgrades again to acknowledge your lv 50. all items are now lv48-50 and all enemies are now lv48-....52 i think. I liked BadMutha better then SuperBad though... But it was so awesome i went to fyrestone to check it out and a SuperBad corrosive alpha skag kicked the crap out of me. I eventually had to kill it by standing on a roof shooting it.

I'd love to add to that hour number, but it seems (after defeating the splash errors) I now cannot leave Fyrestone without getting some sort of error.

is borderlands ran using a ut3 engine?

Sadly my attempts to open any of the Borderlands packages in the UT3 editor failed. It either crashes the editor or gives a message about not finding it.

I got a rocket launcher that shoots all four rockets in its clip at once called Redemption!

I've got a revolver that changes it's element with each shot. and a ammo regening SMG.

I've only found one legendary, it was a crappy revolver, 3 shots at like 400dmg

I've found a legendary rocket launcher that fires 3 rockets at once and I've found a legendary 4x incendiary sniper rifle, my mordecai was pretty happy with that :)

I have a poison damage revolver that I love so I keep a legendary revolver around that regens ammo just so I never run out.

I've gotten an SMG legendary that has ammo regen and fast reload.
