Hope to hear from you guys again.

It was a real blast to finally join a faction not plagued with backstabbing, Team Killing and Unprofessional Shannagains. I hope to get the chance to join you guys on or accross yet another battlefield in another place if not here.

It is refreshing to play with gamers who just want to enjoy themselves and not act like a bunch of 12 year olds.

As I said Default Turrent AI is set to Stupid.

The CV may take presidence as the hit box for a CV is generally larger than a Sv/Hv

I have stated many times in the past that ALL turrents must have a line of sight setting before they target something. No mater what. That way you don't have turrents chewing through a ship or POI to kill a point defence turrent while ignoring the HV parked .5m further away with a row of artys blasting the piss out of your build.

It is an Elion thing that has annoyed me since day one. Untill they include Line of sight in the turrent AI, I will continue to say that turrents are garbage.

Couple of things to remember or add,

Empyrion Ai weapons are default set to Stupid. You need to target specific things with a weapon in order to effectivaly target a unit. Rather than leave them all set to default set groups to target specific parts of a chip. If a cube of death is landing, and another unit moves in rainge the turrent will attack the closest target. In a target rich enviroment the turrents will simply keep switching between targets and not actually shoot anything.

I have also mentioned the "hidden" underground base that the wolves team has which continuiously will shoot targets through the ground. (very humourous when you guys left the turrents in default settings and they were hunting golumns and preditors for me on the top of the mountins.) Turrents buried in caves must have a solid block wall around them. I have chosen to not take advantage of this exploit but I would be within my rights to burry a couple of arty turrents and wait till OP comes off and have them vaporise any part of your base within range.

So as you see no matter what you do or try someone will always find a way to exploit bugs or 'features' in the game when you rely on faulty AI for anything.

I like your Idea Spanj. Something Viable to combat over. Sort of a "fire and Ice" type of a place without the regenerating POIs.

And starting worlds should be as small as possable so people cannot be curled up in a corner spending all the time playing with blocks.

OP not working on PVP homeworld

After testing with Wolf, OP appears to be working as expected but not sure why it was not working when Nakrom attacked (when no one in our faction was online). We need to monitor this and watch out for more strangeness with OP.

You may have had a ghost.

A player logged out, crashed, or somehow left the server incorrectly, and the server still thought the player was online. Next refresh would have wiped out the reminant.

You can only claim leadership of the faction after winning in a fight to the death. you and spanj have to fight it out, Only after you stand with fists raised over spanj's smoldering lifeless corpse can you truly say your the Pirate leader! LOL

You guys better recrute OnlyCoop. He was the best damm get everything scrounger, I ever had on my team!

Are we still having sub factions? So I could be a Spanjite, and still Be a C.O.W.? Or are we stuck being either a Wolfington or a Spanjite?! LOL cheers!

PVPers will be buying resources from the PVE factions anyway, does it make that much difference if they use thier own BP factory compared to a PVE BP factory?
buying BPs from Freelancers is going to be quicker in same cases anyway for large/multiple orders. why not have both options?

Freelancers can still sell ships if they wish. It helps those of us who are less creative/confident in their builds/designs to branch out and own some cool ships. It also gives the PVE factions something to do - build ships in their free time.

Personally I would rather buy a ready made ship and modify it rather than spend a couple days trying to build one. If dream is building ships for me to get shot at in then I am all too happy to let him.
