EGS Alpha 6 Rules Of Engagement (OLD)
-Rules of Engagment-

Space:

(All Raids are disable and steal only not distruction)
(Any faction (Not Lawless) under attack in there territory or asteroid fields has to send a distress call to the Mil/Police when engagment starts. Anyone not doing so at start of engagment will forfiet the battle and loose there cargo to the aggressor)

Lawless/Pirates:

1) Raid starts the moment you open fire.
2) You have until the Mil/Police arrive to get what you can.
3) You can fight the Mil/Police and continue your raid or warp out.
4) The raid is over the moment you leave the playfield.
5) Mil/Police can potentially destroy any agreesive vessels in the playfield friend or foe.
6) The Mil/Police will not pursue out of playfield. (Engagment ends when Raiders leave playfield)

How to raid:
1) Raiding in space is disable only to steal cargo.
2) Disable Vessel/Base
3) Board Vessel/Base take out core, spawn points.
4) Kill all player on Vessel/Base.
5) Steal all cargo you can.
6) Raid is over the moment you leave that playfield. (You can not return once you leave the playfield the engagment is over)

Freelancers:

1) Freelancers can not attack anyone.
2) Freelancers can only fire in self defence when attacked.
3) Freelancers can salvage derelict ships/stations in space.

Planet Invasions:

(Invasions are Faction wide wars)

Homeworlds are protected and invasions of homeworlds must be organised between both consenting facitons. Homeworld invasions are for organised video content only.

All Factions

1) Invasion starts the moment you open fire on planet.
2) Invasions on planets must have HV's in the assaults.
3) Invasions on planets involve HV/SV and BA.
4) CV are for deployments only, not assaults on opposing forces.
5)
6) Invasion is over the moment the aggressor are off the planet and all players and Vessel/Bases destroyed. Or they surrender after 24hrs. (You can not return once the engagment is over)

How to Invade:
1) Land HV/SV on planet.
2) Build a full size base.
3) Takeover all bases on planet.
4) Planet is now your factions.
5) Hold planet from all attacker and it stays your factions.
6) Invasion is over the moment the aggressor are off the planet and all players and Vessel/Bases destroyed. (You can not return once the engagment is over)
