what are the weapon limits on the various vehicles? I can't find anything in the rules about it. for example, I know we are alowed more than one Arty turret on a Hover, but not how many or how many of any other weapon. I wanted to make a mini Missile corvete large SV but I don't know what the limits are.

So a couple days ago I log in to work on my ship, and there near my Space-Dock is a ship called Tickle Me Elmo and it is just above an unfactioned ship that looks like a menacing Cylon Raider on steroids. LoL anyway, just wondering who that was, both ships are still there. I havrnt seen anyone around my base area, well ever. Wallenstein is the closest I have seen anyone.

I may be late into this covo, but from the videos I have been watching I know that people have been been puting a lot of time and effort into creating their carry over ship. Maybe as a compromise have people do the fresh start (crash land stranded scenario) and then after a certain amout of time (days/weeks) or maybe on reaching a certain level, they get "rescued" by their Faction and recieve the carry over ship or if they don't have one a "Wallenstein special" starter. I would actualy like to have both since I like what I have seen of what Wallenstein has been doing.

oh no! I didn't know this...I have to redesign 6 ships I was working on for this server. they were, as Spanj said, fast striking smaller CV's.

Greetings! I have a few questions that didnt seem to fit into any of the topics already posted or rather a broad range that didn't fit.
Before I start I wanted to say thank you for the invite. I recognize several names on here from youtube videos I watch or from coments on said videos and workshop blueprints
I am currently using my roomates computer to play (my computer crashed and it is going to be a while before I have the funds to repair it.) and this leads to some possible problems I may have playing here.

#1 I am currently in expiremental 6. Will this prevent me from joining a server running a 5 version?
#2 I do not have teamspeak and am not able to use a mic or headphones. Is TS a requirement?
#3 I love the factions theme you have going. from what I have been able to pick up from comments it seems that the Pirates are in need of people. How do you get resources from starting on planets that lack so many ores? do you fly onto enemy planets and do covert mining?
#4 What re the rules on POI's? are they reset? can I take one over and use it as a starting base? Can I throw in my own core to salvage the parts?
#5 I read somewhere you have to go through someone to buy ships and bases? I know it was said you can make your own but you need to buy it if you want a second of the same one. But what about ships I make in creative and want to spawn in? I normaly have a set of vehicles I use for early game in my blueprints and then work my way up.
#6 I read somewhere that the starting planets are just staging areas to start from but you cant build a base there......so how are you supposed to be able to survive and gather enough resources to move off planet without being able to build at least a temporay base.
#7 i didn't see anywhere about building a base in space? what are the rules about that?

Sorry i have so many questiones. I've never played EGS multiplayer and this server and community seems established and something other than a typical server.
