this started a few days ago.
whenever I try to launch planetside, the play button turns red and says 'RETRY' and an errorcode is displayed, followed by ''unable to download socketerror'' or something like that.
Afterwards, the client crashes. i have reinstalled several times but to no avail. any advice? :(

If you want to try and get more people to help and volunteer, try setting events before you start. It gives a headsup rather than a quick annoucement, it works as a good calandar

After the update.i only have 30-35 fps.sometimes on 20-25

Here's a thought for a challenge. You should make the worst loadout you can think of and try to play with it. Film the resultant lulz.

Just wanted to write a suggestion for something on Community Call. I wanted to know what your opinion would be for a new set of faction specific guns. I was kind of interested in a bullpup designed weapon for each faction. The only sort of complication that I have been able to think of is what the Vanu gun would look like since all thier weapons are already close to bullpup design. Please tell me what your thoughts are. Thank you

Loadout for NC Infiltrator:
Name: Creepy Stalker
Weapon: AF-18 Stalker with Night Vision, Surpressor and Foregrip
Secondary: Desperado with surpressor and laser
Cloak, Nano Armor and Medkits

Wrecker loadout for tr light assult
haymaker or barage with a 3.4x scope, slugs and laser sight
standard jumpjets
underboss with laser sight
Ammunition belt
smoke grenades (only use for running back to the spawn room if a group of enemys come towards u).
C4 or medkits
enjoy sniping people at range and also aim for headshot.

I dont know did they nerf or buffed the harasser cause if u ramm a tank with the boost the tank actually flips i have done it a lot of times sad if a prowler is on anchored it cannot be fliped it would be awesome if it could.

Good day/evening/night Wrel, I've got a loadout suggestion for you.

Loadout Name: Wisp (Vanu)
Class: Infiltrator
Primary: Nyx (Suppressed, Laser sight, 3.4x chevron sight)
Secondary: Cerberus (Suppressor, Laser sight)
Ability: Hunter Cloaking
Armour: Ammunition Belt (I still think the infiltrator gets a few too few bullets for my liking.)
Grenade: EMP
Utility: Medical kits

The inspiration for the Wisp was to get something to use on the ground of a decently sized tower fight. I overall love the Nyx, as you can tend to rely on a 4 shot kill at all ranges, which the 3.4x optics cater for nicely. But in close quarters having a good sidearm really helps out.

Enter Cerberus - suppressable to keep with the sneaky...ness and better at close ranges than the beamer.

The final piece to the loadout is the EMP grenades, which can just tilt the scales when you're noticed running into a building.

On a side note, thanks for the great videos sir, you're a credit to the community.
