Hi guys. I'm Novaki. I started seriously programming about 2 years ago when I started working on my AAS degree in computer programming. I now know a good handful of languages from something like Basic and HTML to more complex languages like C# and Java. If you guys have any questions feel free to ask. I'm setting out to be a master, I have a few projects I would love to start. To name a few A menu system for my work, anyone envoled would get a cut for what they bring to the menu. It will also not only be for my job, but also plenty other systems.

A game which is in C++, and Unreal.

Any feed back of how to master these projects is welcomed.

Hello. I'm new to this group and I've been screwing around with programming and scripting since I was 8. Unfortunately, only a few months ago I started again and have now learned basic logic that is common throughout mainstream programming languages. I am currently learning Java, and one thing that I am unsure of how to handle is instanciation. My initial thought was that once a class was created, certain data types could be set as parameters for the main class to alter the object. Something such as (in psuedo code):
BOX CLASS:
public class Box {
blah blah blah
Box.params(int, double, string);
}
public static void main(args[] string) {
Box main = new Box(3, 77.3, "rekt");
}
I'm fairly certain that something like this is possible. I just don't know how to do it.

Just saw the post on /r/teenagers. This is an awesome idea, and I'm glad that their is a group for teenagers who are interested in programming.

I completely agree Tap. My main point is that they are unable to find the best resources for learning and do not have friends they can talk to about what they're learning. You can always go onto a forum and ask, but the answers won't be as personalized as if you asked a friend or group of people you know. The purpose of this group is to motivate people to learn by showing them that they can learn and that they will have help along the way.

Neither are true. If you have a library or internet access, help and learning resources are abundant. It really just comes down to your motivation to actually do something.
