CSGOShop Under New Ownership

Our Loyal Members,

I am pleased to announce we have found a buyer for CSGOShop and are working on a transition plan with the new owner. More information will be made available about them soon.

The founders of CSGOShop and our developer have always valued the privacy and security of our users. As such, we plan to delete all user data from the CSGOShop database before the transition completes so everyone has a choice where -and with who- their data is shared. The same will be true for backups. The new owner of CSGOShop will start with a fresh website and further info on the launch date will be provided by them.

A new site will be rolled out by us with all account balances and item data transferred over. Bots will be available to facilitate item returns. We plan to keep this site operating for around 6 months. We hope that 6 months will give everyone ample time to remove their deposited items via Steam and payouts via PayPal. We aim to have the site running within a week or two. CSGOShop will continue to function until the new site is deployed.

Many of you have already made payout requests and they will be fulfilled as soon as possible. We are still working with PayPal support to remove the limitations on our account; we are awaiting a response. We will update this page again when we know more. Because of the Holidays it may take longer than originally expected and we have updated the estimated payout date accordingly. All of us want to assure you that your funds are safe and payout requests will be processed as soon as possible.

Jan 4th update:

As of January 3rd G2APay (and all deposits) are disabled. All remaining items will be moved to dedicated item return bots to facilitate withdraws after the 7-day trade hold is removed.

The site that will be used for returns is CSGOShopReturns.com. This is where we will maintain and hold any unreturned items from CSGOShop after the transition to the new owner is complete, and which will allow users to spend whatever leftover balances they may have.

BitSkins Shutdown, CSGOShop Shadow Daggers Giveaway

With the recent news of Bitskins shutting down, we at CSGOShop have started expanding operations and planned new features and updates in order to accommodate new incoming users.

Paypal and Stripe added as a deposit method

As of August 25, 2019, Paypal has been added back to the CSGOShop checkout process to improve user experience.

This improvement is one of many that we have planned - keep tuned!

Compliance update 2: Keys are back

Update:
After speaking with PayPal they have allowed us to continue selling Valve keys for an unspecified amount of time as they review their policy changes. They have not made a final decision regarding Keys, but they would still like us to keep Valve cases off the site. We will work to keep keys in stock for our customers.

We are appealing with PayPal as we believe this compliance requirement to be unfair. We will make another announcement with more information if we get it.
