Weekly Custom Weapon Discussion: The Hand Cannon
Alrighty, since I can't wait, here's some more discussion for ya! One of my new favorites, actually.

Hand Cannon
(+) 1000% bullet bonus per shot
(-) 75% less damage
(-) 75% less clip size
(-) 69% less ammo carried
(-) 400% less accurate
(-) 2 second reload
(-) No random critical hits

Honestly, this paired with the Crit-a-Cola is devastating. Or Crit-a-Cola with The Rage Scatter.

Crit-a-Cola goes well with anything, it seems.

To be honest, I kinda disagree with you on this one. The Crit-A-Cola raises your damage vulnerability by 10% which is pretty crucial since soldiers can now one shot you with a stock rocket launcher. Don't forget why the Crit-A-Cola is made for. It's made to make you do more damage at the cost of taking more damage as a Scout. Scouts are one of the easiest classes to die. Another effect of the Crit-A-Cola is to boost your movement speed by 25%. This makes your movement speed 158%. Let's just round that to 160%. This effect is an act of replacing the fact that you can't fire your pistol anymore. You sacrifice it for a drink that increases your damage, speed, and makes you take more damage. Sure... Movement speed is better for the scout than a pistol that shoots. May I remind you that this weapon recharges? This is like reloading a weapon that takes a year. Exaggerating aside of course. The fact that the weapon must recharge and it can only recharge once shows that the bonus doesn't last forever. I know I'm going all out on this but in conclusion:

Crit-A-Cola + Hand Cannon = High Damage, 25% Faster Movement Speed, 10% More Damage Taken, and Limited Use

The fact that yes it does more damage, you have to get up close to do the damage! With the 10% damage vulnerability, you have to take the Hand Cannon seriously and go stealthy or just plain up run into their face and get shot and die easily. No the Hand Cannon is not overpowered (OP) with the Crit-A-Cola and with the Rage Scatter. You have less time to react when your low on health with the Crit-A-Cola since you have a 10% damage vulnerability.

Pretty annoying to fight against if the enemy knows how to use it right, but fairly balanced. It needs to get REALLY close to do damage and so the player has to put himself at risk, good players know to flank and be sneaky when using it to pick targets.

No changes suggested.

Ahaha, that's true! And I believe it's 30% damage vulnerability, actually, if you want it to get any worse!

But honestly, I love it when I play sneaky Scout. The Hand Cannon already is pretty good up close, but other than that it feels like it needs an extra boost from mid-range, which is where the Cola comes in handy, in this case.

10% Damage for a scout is a pretty rough time don't you think? The Scout has many counter classes. Soldiers, Somewhat Pyros, Demoknights, Demos (You Might Figure Why), Heavies, and Engineers. I don't wanna start an arguement. I'm just saying what I think. You know?

I'm just saying I am a frequent user of the Crit-a-Cola + Handcannon loadout! It's pretty fun for me.

I will say though, you can totally spawn camp some of the doors in 2Fort with this thing.

Crit o cola seems to dangerous, I used to drink and stack up to 300 the Prototype punch
So you can get close with the handgun
This weapon is just usless on long range like reciprocal(?) of Shortstop.(Longstart?)
