Giveaway412's Model Replacement and New Weapon suggestions
I have a lot of suggestions in this area so I decided to make a thread to compile them all in.
The first post will be dedicated entirely to model replacements.

Replace the Shotgun Bride's model with this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=246112655
The current model doesn't really fit the TF2 aesthetic. I searched around, but this was the best thing I could find. This is technically a nailgun, so it might fit with the firing projectiles idea.

Replace the Matador's model with this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=262559558&searchtext=
Nothing wrong with the current model, it's just that I always envisioned this one as a "homing rocket" weapon. Might fit a little bit better, with the radar screen.

The Firkin Flamer:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=124535177&searchtext=Firkin
I believe this is an updated model.

Replace the Psyco's Axe model with this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=433881453&searchtext=Buzzsaw
A more fitting model, I believe, for the weapon. Heavier, and much more indicative that when equipped, it becomes his primary weapon.

Replace the Modern Drunkfare's model with this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=100639340
A weapon part of the Number 13's model set, and generally higher quality than the current model. The coloring makes it seem more fitting for a crazy, experimental grenade launcher, while the current model has the ScoRes color scheme.

Maxim Gun
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=132801604
This is an updated model, I told Crafting about this earlier but unfortunately I was unable to find a download link.

First weapon suggestion post! We'll begin with two scout weapons, intended to combine with the Finicky Stick to make a weapon set. The set is themed about around gambling and high-risk, high-reward situations.

The Payoff
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=196817620
Scout Scattergun
+On three consecutive shots dealing 30 damage or over: Instantly refill entire clip
-20% less damage
-33% slower reload

The Ace of Spades
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=115714575
Scout Throwable, similar to Flying Guillotine
Has six different effects that it can randomly inflict on enemy hit.
+1/6 chance to inflict afterburn for 8 seconds
+1/6 chance to inflict bleed for 8 seconds
+1/6 chance to inflict Jarate for 8 seconds
+1/6 chance to inflict Mad Milk for 8 seconds
-1/6 chance to do nothing
-1.6 chance to heal victim for 50 health
+25% faster projectile speed

I unpined this discussion, just so other people don't think this is the "main" new weapon suggestion discussion.

You can still post your ideas here Giveaway412.

I have changed the Firkin Flamer and Matador models, the changes will take affect when I add AW to the current lineup.

I will have to contact people to get links to their models.

That's quite alright, my idea process is going slower than I imagined. Ark Survival has been taking all my free time, lol...

Two new medic mediguns!

The Anti-Deathray
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=439001431&searchtext=The+Blitzstorm
+Patient being healed moves at 20% increased speed
+Medic moves at same speed as patient if patient moves faster than Medic (like quick-fix)
-50% decreased heal rate
Ubercharge gives the patient the effects of the Buff Banner, Battalion's Backup and Concherer all at the same time for eight seconds.

The Second Chance
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=151944588&searchtext=biowaste
Ability to revive dead teammates using MVM reviving devices, only visible to medics wielding this weapon. 4 second revival speed.
-15% heal rate
-40% overheal
Ubercharge allows medic to revive teammates in 1/2 a second, and also summons 5 large friendly skeletons that attack the enemy team.

Sorry for the delay in making suggestions, I've been out of town and it's been hard to find time.
Time for some new Scout Weapons!
First, a set to complete the Jump-Action Shotgun.

The Knave's Knife
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=347730050&searchtext=knave
+Crits when thrown during an air-jump (Either a double jump or explosive jump)
-Doesn't cause bleed on hit
-Doesn't crit on stunned players
+5 second recharge time
-No random crits

The Prankster's Pin
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=347728977
Right-click launches the ball, right-clicking again will explode the ball.
Not a lot of damage, but a lot of launching force.
Exploding the ball allows the scout to use it to explosive jump.
+50% bullet and flame damage vulnerability while active.

And a weapon to finish off your enemies.

The Supply Chain
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=430963219&searchtext=supply+chain
+On kill: Completely reloads primary weapon's clip.
+15% more damage
-90% slower swing speed

Also... a plea to re-add the Finicky Stick.
Initially, I was the number one complainer against this weapon. I didn't like the random chance mechanic. But then I realized that the weapon came from a gambler set... and it made sense. The weapon was balanced in that it was random. Unlike random crits, it required the scout to take a huge risk for even a chance of getting that kill, pulling out the melee and getting in close. It was a unique idea for a weapon and I loved it. So, please add it back to the mod.

Heavy Shotgun time.

The Russian Roulette
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=278364722&searchtext=Russian+Roulette
+25% damage
1/6 chance that shot will be dealt to yourself (so there is a 1/6 chance that you will take damage instead of shooting)
No random crits

The Sub-Sandvich (REDONE)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2155&searchtext=Sub-Sandvich
On hit: Damage dealt is returned as health
-20% smaller clip size
Per shot: -20 health

The Fat Scout (REDONE)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=366919683&searchtext=Tactigatling
+20% damage bonus
+20% more bullets
-No access to Primary Weapon

Basically, I feel the Fat Scout playstyle should revolve more around being a slow, powerful shotgun wieldig tank rather than being a poor-man's scout. It just clashes, and a weapon of that size doesn't mesh well being as weak as it is. This thing can blow away anyone at close range, but it takes considerable time to get there.

New Pistol update! Featuring 1 new Scout pistol, 3 new Engineer pistols, and even a new Soldier pistol using the Righteous Bison animations.

The Solid SOCOM (Scout)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=524757547&searchtext=solid
+Targets are marked and outlined for ten seconds on hit
+Mini-crits on headshots
+Very little bullet spread
-50% firing speed
-66% clip size (4 shots)

The Superb Soaker (Soldier)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=157020559&searchtext=superb+soaker
+Damage that would have been dealt is returned as health
-Doesn't actually deal any damage
+50% slower weapon switch speed to and a away from this weapon

The Gamma Gazer (Engineer)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=229535075&searchtext=gamma+gazer
+Getting a kill with this weapon will give you +50 max metal reserve
-25% damage
-25% firing speed
-50% clip size (6 shots)

The Quick-Draw (Engineer)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=404858784&searchtext=desert+rose
+Mini-crits for 3 seconds after being drawn
+25% faster switch speed to this weapon
+25% slower switch speed away from this weapon
-33% firing speed

The Pug (Engineer)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=346296258&searchtext=Sparky
+20% faster firing speed
+Crits on disguised spies
-25% clip size (8 shots)
+33% slower reload speed

New Model for the Bulldog:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=345318403&searchtext=morgan
The Pug is designed to provide a weapon compliment to the Bulldog, so I figured it would be best to change the Bulldog's model to this gun, which is in the same set as the Pug. The current Bulldog is a little flat-textured, and this shotgun keeps the general motif while looking better.

Hey, I like your model replacements for sure! Seems like a lot of thought got put into them.
(And I agree with changing the Matador's model. It just looks too...complex at the moment. I'd love a simpler design.)

Thanks for the compliment! Crafting actually liked my idea for that one and did replace the Matador model.

The old model is now used for the "Danger Ranger" rocket launcher.
Gorilla 14 Oct, 2015 @ 4:08pm
Pyro is currently the only class with no custom secondaries. I figured I'd fix that.

The Toxic Terror
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=274070688&searchtext=EX-VERMIN
+On enemy hit: Reset afterburn timer
-20% firing speed

The Flashfire
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=148521367&searchtext=Calefactor
+25% chance to ignite target on hit (Per pellet, you're farely unlikely to ignite if it's just a glancing blow but if it's a meatshot afterburn is basically guranteed. Afterburn damage comparable to stock flamethrower)
+20% more accurate
-33% clip size
-20% damage done

The Insanerator
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=124909627&searchtext=Insanerator
+Can ignite buildings, dealing afterburn damage similar to the stock flaregun. Afterburn can be removed with one wrench swing
+20% increased damage to buildings
-33% decreased damage to players
+15% longer reload

Sorry for the delay, today's weapon selection will be dedicated to the Demoman.

The Drunkard's Wrath
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=430935694
+50% clip size (six pills)
+15% faster firing rate
-50% explosion radius
-Pills explode on contact with surface

The Cushioned Blow
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=97494373
+33% increased knockback
-50% damage done
-6 max stickies out

The Frag Grenadier
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=488921733
Stickies explode into two smaller "frag grenades" upon detonation
-20% explosion radius
-4 max stickies out
-25% building damage

The Brawny Homebrew
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=97495431
On hit: 5 seconds of Bleed
Bleed damage is returned as health
-50% damage done

The Drunken Brew (Model/Name Change)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=497688226
While I love the current model for the Drunk Grail, the colors on it are a little bit flat and it doesn't make much sense for him to drink it upside down. This model better fits with the drunken behavior the weapon encourages, and the fact that Demoman needs more bottle melees.

Seeing as the new Mannpower update introduced a "Plague" debuff, I thought I'd incorporate it into the Outbreaker to harken back to the TFC Medic.

The Viral Vaccine
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=151944240
(+) On hit: Inflict Plague debuff on enemies
(-) 20% less movespeed while out
(-) 25% less damage

Probably not since the Infection knife already has that debuff.

The Infection knife was around before the addition of the Plague, Plague debuff doesn't stun enemies, spreads to allies and I believe it has a limited timer (i.e. like afterburn)

Either way it's still very rough, more of a concept than anything.
