Well the brute force already crits while airborn so the marlet gardening demo is already a thing but its doest fit a sword that gives you damage vulnerability while active and tou have to take damage from sticky jumps. I suggested that it would crit while airborn because it already is a weapon based on sticky jumping unlike the brute force
Suffering does have a good point about the brute force.
The marked death penalty does counter-act against the crit on airborne buff on the grounds that you might kill yourself by accident since switching to your melee while already having the stickies set to jump will have you take extra damage from the blast due to your mark.(except the sticky jumper)
And all for a upside that's hard to pull off due to aimming down on a single enemy and hoping the hit will land and kill them before you get yourself killed shortly after, again due to the mark.
You can make the argument that you can jump with the sticky launcher and then pull out the force and that's a good point... except the fact that the draws and sheaths slower than normal and need I remind you, it marks you when you have it out anyways while trying to to pull it off
It's true that this attribut should be given to the jumping jesopat instead of the Brute force
Giving impossible attribut to the brut force make it good on paper but useless in fact
Those two need some change, but not a total weapon rework into demoknight items

Because sticky is one of the powerfullest weapon in the game
The jumping jesophat is not made for demoknight
And you can use it with the Cannon instead of sticky to keep your Shield
But it's not a Demoknight Melee
It's a Flying Demo melee obviously
Everyone have is own favorite playstyle, just do it as you want and stop trying to mess about it

Also I think that the weapon is how it is cause it's limited by the attribut
You moght know that Crafting have trouble finding coders to help him fixing & making new stuff
Sticky Launcher on its own is definitely not the strongest weapon in the game. Even when sticky spamming, a Soldier with stock would easily deal large amounts of damage and have more HP and versatility with his weapons. He has more range as well and allows for rocket jumping more frequetly than the Sticky.

Well why not? A weapon should be a sidegrade from stock but almost NEVER exclusive use for a single loadout. The Shortstop suggests you use it with Mad Milk to heal more, but it is a fine weapon on its own. What is the point of having a weapon be so specailized that it's only purpose is to be paired with another weapon? And no, using the Loose Cannon to bypass the sticky launcher does not excuse the weapon for being overspecialized garbage.

Eternal will "mess about it" as much as he very well likes! Suggesting for a change for the sake of change is sometimes harmful, but Eternal noted a weapon that is largely underutilized by a majority of the server and wanted to see it have more viability in comparison to other weapons. Yes, it is ment for flying Demotrolls, but it punishes them too much to make any of the current upsides worth using or exploring.

Also, the attributes suggested have been applied to other weapons before Eternal's suggestion, so no it is not because it is limited due to staffing limitations. Moreso, it would likely be caused by silence of the state of the weapon, something Eternal has been trying to disrupt in order to make a new weapon for Demoman that could be fun and fair to use and encounter in cTF2w.
The Tell me what the claid hem mor is of it's not esclusive ? Same for the persan sword
For the BASE jumper, for the wee booties... Etc...
A lot of weapon are made for just one type of gameplay
Here I just don't understand while you would use the jumping jesopat with shield
