Brute Force: Bring the old one back
Jumping Jesopath: Add "1 second longer SHIELD charge time" and "Crits while airborn" to make it the jumping/shield charging melee sword

Yeah it was suggested a long time ago and Crafting was interested
And I also don't agree with your stats cause it's not balanced at all
"Is a sword" is not a buff for me cause you loose random crit for melee range
The -25% damage are already in the damage decreasing with life...

Remove current debuff and add these stats:
+This weapon has a large melee range (does not deploy or holster slower)
-The lower your health is the slower you move
-25% damage penalty
-No random crits

also, the merge isn't that good, if it become harder to kill, the sniper charge wont be usefull
also, you forgot "no random crits"

Then how about I just simplify it a bit:
Heatwave (Rework/Merge with the Waved Farewell):
+On kill: Gain 50% faster charge speed for rifles (can be stacked)
+On hit: Reveal cloaked and disguised spies
-The charge resets on attack with primary weapon or death
-25% slower swing speed
-No random crits

then it's useless -_-
better keep the acutal heat wave
