But remember: The Holepuncher can be further enhanced by increasing the Engineer's HP to 150, 200 or equivalently 350 with the Gunslinger, GS + Brains over Brawn PDA or the GS + Metal Shield PDA. Now you are a slower Scout with the HP of the Soldier, with increased damage and virtually no downsides other than clip size that could be easily negated with the bottomless stock pistol.

A FaN is the primary source of damage for the Scout, and can easily be countered due to his low HP that cannot be increased any further by other weapons except the Survival Gear. Even then, you still lose the ability to finish off targets after using the full clip at a range, which the Hole Puncher-gineer can still manage. You have much less wiggle room in terms of buffing core stats as Scout AND keeping your pirmary in check.

In the perfect storm, a FaN Scout can be powerful, but the Hole Puncherneer can do so much more damage as a Battlegineer, a Battle/Supportive Engineer or as a Senaky Engineer. It prohibits virtually nothing to Engi's capabilities with constructs for what it can allow for the Engineer to deal and accomplish. No, the Hole Puncher may not be the problem here, as 200 health Battle Engies may be too good to be fair, but it still is a very optimal choice for its minimal downsides and beneficial upsides.

As it increase your max metal, it's kinda good to build quicker, but anyway
The hole puncher is situational, you need to have full metal and to get 4 kill before
It's like if you say "eyelander" is too op because it have stack

I feel like the hole puncher makes battle engineer too viable, and discourages actual engineering, since it one shots most classes at 0 kills, if you have the 200 metal, and the bonus damage seems to not adhere to falloff.
