I think the infection needs to have something else. Why have a slow and possibly escapable death when I could just kill him instantly.

Yeah. Believe me, I've done the same mistake before, and now I know that would be much more balanced.

The only time I've had trouble with the booster shot was when there were only I think 8 to 7 players on the server and the other team consisted of two booster shot medics and two shot gun heavies, they were unstoppable, my team of a sniper, a spy, and direct hit soldier could do nothing, never really had trouble with it until the player count got low

One person wanting to use a weapon a certain way that the majority do not use it for will not cause it be changed, and directly buffing it just so you can change the playstyle will never work. A rework would be required to change it to be most effective at that. Decides, it rewards you for not getting caught without having cloak long enough for the enemy to group with one of his mates. It also works on already grouped enemies such as a player with a pocket or a payload with many players on it, as they are usually focusing on maintaining the forward push and breaking through the defenses.

I think there is a bug where you do 3 damage on backstage and hearing critical damage, so maybe I'm just not getting to use the weapon you just described

The weapon is already being considered op as players confuse overpowered with annoying. The lack of cloak is an intended nerf. The enemy does not hear the backstab anyways

The inside Jab seems strange to me, it gives you multiple bombs to plant, but you can't cloak after you plant one. If I want to stalk my planted victim and wait for him to get near teammates or look for another victim to plant, I'l probably need that cloak. I just feel punished for successfully planting someone, can't the detonate button be moved to the special key?
