Ideas for Changes/Balancing (Custom Weapons)

Well, the Raiding Aid... a rather questionable weapon on all the classes it can be brandished by. It can hold up to 8 shots and gains quite a bit of potential burst damage when fully loaded, which sounds nice on paper. What I can't comprehend about this weapon that makes it hard for me to accept as balanced is its rather large downsides.

75% slower reload speed. Ouch. This makes it a very punishing weapon, allowing 1v1s to heavily fall to the enemy's favor if you miss a few shots that the enemy can spend reloading and firing first for the win. And that's overall problem with the weapon currently, it's too dang inefficient even with the 8 shot maximum.

Let me pitch it to you like this: you are a Pyro with all 8 shots against a Pyro with stock. You find yourself without any ammo in the clip, but have enemies on your tail. Shots count and you need many at any time, so having either more shots at your immediate disposal or more shots via quicker reload would be very helpful right about now. Problem is: Stock is completely superior in this situation, because though you have more shots for more kills, the time it takes you to reload no less than 4 shots in your clip does the stock have a full clip, ready to take on more enemies.

Another problem is the time it takes to lead up to the 8 shots. Compared to the Family Buisness and the Widowmaker, having to earn your punishing shots from half of stock feeds into the effeciency problem above, making this weapon harsh with very low benefit.

In summery: The Raiding Aid provides a significant disadvantage to its user, with only 33% clip size but 100% increased downtime from empty to full, which makes it very punishing for aggressive play and high tension situations. I would personally perfer the Shotgun all the time, having a few more shots is not worth having massive downtime that effectively eliminates the extra shots over time and gimps the DPS significantly when you need it the most.

And this isn't even considering the inefficient nature with Engineer and the Widowmaker, the general lack of use to the Heavy and the Family Buisness and the general lack of use to the Soldier. This is by and large a Pyro Shotgun, with alternatives and playstyles simply denying this weapon's useful qualities to shine when you need kills to set up what was simply there all along.
While I heavily agree, I think a scenario where you start out with the entire clip instead of having an empty clip would be more useful in highlighting the weakness of the lone upside
