The Crowd Control is difficult to use, outright impossible and invaluable to any Soldier.

The first problem is that sword attribute. It KILLS this weapon, certainly too long to take out for it to be a quick one hit disorientation utility and quick follow-up that the other stats suggest. Atop the damage penalty, this weapon is just impractical to use and generally difficult when trying to use it with other weapons.

Secondly is that mark for death. Though it is a cool idea to knock an enemy in the air and combo them with the Reserve or the Direct Hit, this weapon's mark literally becomes worthless since those weapons do that job exactly the same thing in mini-critting the target. Otherwise the Liberty Launcher's faster rockets and larger clip allows it to maximize the airshot practice that this weapon promotes. Otherwise its better to just fire another rocket rather than hitting a target and then hitting them with minicrit damage.

It serves for marking enemies for team-mates, but the Buff Banner does that job much more effectively and makes this weapon redundent for boosting damage for oneself and others. This one promots airshots and disorientation, but other weapons like the Marauder's Mace does that disorientation well enough and airshot gimmicks at the cost of the Escape Plan or Disiplinary Action, both weapons with utility everwhere, is just in a desperate need of an overhaul.
