Blocking People from Mods
Hey guys,

I wanted to post here for a moment to share some info with the other modders out there.

Some of us have experienced frequent users who are extremely negative to vicious in their comments on our mods. And until now I had thought all we could do is delete their posts.

This is not the case :)

You CAN block them from posting to your workshop content. If you feel that someone is constantly bothering you to harassing you and your mods - you can block them from posting to all of your workshop content.

To do this, if you feel you need to....

Open the person's steam page.
Go to "More" in the opper right area of their page.
In More select "block all communication"

Done!

Now this user can no longer post comments to your mod pages! They can try - but steam will not allow them to do post to your content anymore. They CAN still subscribe - as sometimes the hater is the fan - but they can no longer bother you any more.

I know this is an iffy topic for some - but it is worth it if is something that is weighing on you seeing such negativity. All the mods we make take a lot of time to create - none of us deserve to be berated or abused. Over the last few years of modding - from Skyrim to DD - I have seen great modders quit in making mods because the negativity was too much. For artists like myself - we can take a level of criticism in order to improve - but hate and nastiness can be too heavy to bear.
