Future Discussion Board Setup
Hey everyone!

We are approaching the release of the workshop tools and I wanted to ask you about how we would like to structure this group.

Once we make the build live, we figured we could make this group not-private and use it as a place for modders to discuss their work/share tips etc. I know we have this space on the main game forums, but I figured it might be nice to structure something more long term here.

With that in mind what boards would you all like to see? Keep in mind this would be a mod creator focused board so what would make things easier as we potentially scale this group up?

I have experience handling the forums of Steam groups of various sizes, the largest being one that was 20K+ members. I could help manage and set up the forums here if you'd like.

I would second that.

As for the structure itself. For my suggestion I would say keep the primary board as the general discussion, then create a Help & Support board & 3 boards for the current, more focused of the modding scene. 1 for Class Mods, 1 for Gameplay Mods & Overhauls, 1 for Graphic Mods.

I like it, but how should we title those 3 focused areas so they read as a way for people to come there to talk about their works in progress etc.

Mod - Class
Mod - Gameplay/Overhaul
Mod - Graphic

?

I guess I want to make sure people understand they fall under the "common modding area" header.

A "misc" section for mods that elude those titles as well would be cool too. And maybe a "modder's resource" area.

That sounds like something that would be a good pinned post on this board, a collection of tools/resources etc.
