Map Generator Modding
Hello Community,

I'm trying to get a better understanding of some of the line items within map_generator.darkest

If anyone could provide solid information or point me to a thread with said information it would be much appreciated. I'm having trouble determining what the following values actually affect:

.connectivity - what exactly does this entail and how does it affect layout?
.nudge_span - does this cause non-linear hallways?
.nudge_neighbour_bias - no idea here...
.nudge_map_center_bias - does this shift the originating room?

I have a vague idea that these values will affect how the map is drawn overall and where the rooms will fall in relation to the originating room, but I'm at a loss as to what they actually achieve and the range of values that can be applied. Any guidance would be appreciated!

In the meantime I'll be scouring the community forums for more information on this topic.

To be clear, I've started testing things and have been able to modify the generator to achieve some of the results I was looking for. I want to get a better understanding of some of the items I'm fuzzy on to ensure that if I do release any sort of map generation mod it doesn't cause issues for the end user.
