I dont like to run steam in background for whole time, so - I prefer to launch game from _nosteam subfolder. But I also dont like to lose my mods setup with each update. So - Im trying to make them work from /mods/ folder. And there is a deal - they dont.
All mods have .xml files, everything works fine when I run game from steam. But if I copy folders with mods to /mods/ and try to run game from its folder - instead of normal mod description and logos, I see empty lines and miniature of 1st mod in list, doubled to them all. Pointless to say, that, even if I enable some of them, they dont work.

So - how do I make mods work from /mods/ folder? Or the only way to play game with modded content with steam being off is to override game's files?
