Problems creating Audio Mods
I've finally gotten around trying the new Audio Mod system, but I keep getting errors trying to run it into Darkest Dungeon and I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong. Right now I'm just trying to mute some enviroment & enemy sounds for testing and recording purposes, mostly some Crusader sound effects for one of my mods here.

The error I am getting is "JSON: Member not found: "event_guid_overrides"

I went over the tutorial and went over all my text & guids and I don't think I structured anything wrong...

I'm getting it too; usually an assert like this occurs due to a missing header in one of the data files, but I'm sure you and I are doing things very similarily.

My best guess is that it's looking for a differently named file and, of course, not finding it.

I'd like to chime in here again and say that I don't think audio modding is working correctly, or the instructions we've been given are incorrect. I'm unable to copy existing sounds and have them appear in-game.

It seems to want to override existing events rather than take the place of ones that don't yet exist. On top of that I feel that the method of audio modding is extremely counterintuitive and ultimately may result in the intimidation of newcomers wishing to mod any sort of audio events.

A better system would be a data file that connects event IDs with the names of audio files. This way people could quickly and effortlessly adjust which effects play for which events, and they could add the raw sound files in and call them without needing to use external software.

The PUA guys are looking into it. I'll let you know when I hear back.

I appreate all the work that both Red Hook & Power Up Audio have put into the workshop system. I was just wondering if there was any news on the Audio Modding with the Workshop being a day before release?

They said they will get to it soon. I'll bother them again, sorry for the delay!
