Here are some report of crashes I got from some of my mod classes. They are not in the workshop, but hope to know what is trigging the crash.

So it seem that with some of the mod class installed, when run against bosses, even if the mod class are not in the group, it still crash the game. Regular run seem to be okay.

My suspection is with the achievement(?). But see if any one know what might trigger it and how to better fix it. Thanks.

I am getting the crash with the Vamp too, but not sure why.

Curious, but wonder what are the offical statement / plan for moding sound (or sound moding)

Seem like they are from the FMOD studio software, so seem a 3rd party restruction?

But wonder if there would be way to still access and sync up sound bit (for mod class), or even to the extend of adding your own sound bites or music in?

I know mine test mod class have problem.
Mainly handling the effect (caus seem the current way would have issue install more than one mod)

So been putting it off till that issue been address (to make it more addtive)

However, all the other changes scare me.......

That is good to hear, especially the solution 2.

Could see the same done to the other core game files too, else would be difficult to run multiple mods or when there are game updates.

If it only overwite, it create problems.
A) It will create problem with any new patch
B) It will not work with any other mods that change the same file.


Will we expect it to be change later? Or a way to handle the file seperately? (with running a "stitch" program to combin/compile it again)

Well, where is what I did.
I create a effects.darkest file in the same folder path, but in it only the new custom codes that I want to add.

After upload and select it as mod, it shows that all the other effect is gone.

So right now I am assuming that it will only overwrite a same file, but not inject into it?

So I tried the upload, which works (finally, the added instruction is very helpful).

But it half-crash, and from the look of it, it is the effect files.

So for example of the effect file, how to best handle it? Cause it seem that you need to upload the entire file (with the original code) for it to work, which will override(?) the exisiting? But that would create trouble with future updates?

Would expect that you include the snipet of code you want to add, and the workshop will add that on to the exisiting code files.

Is this for 12-Step DD program?

I did some class mods here and there. Also hope to do more monster mods later too.
