Big Update Planned (CS:GO)

Great news! The update I've been waiting to push will be here no later than this weekend for everyone to enjoy! Going to be adding a moderate sized store with trails. All players will be able to achieve credits for their trails. You can also donate which will give you credits to get player models and/or trails! The update will also include AT LEAST 10 more maps per server and pending testing, the Tier 3 server will also be live!

Maintenence complete and list of changes!

Hey everyone, maintenence for right now is complete. I will continue to be updating the servers with some surprises in the coming days that I'm sure everyone will like! So as a community we've decided to make some changes and that was one of many reasons for the downtime.

The servers have been adjusted and are still currently being updated. That said, a metric ton of performance changes have been put in place as well as better stability across all the servers. We have essentially renovated TeamEthics.

As of this writing we currently have
CS:GO Tier 1 Surf - 15 Maps
CS:GO Tier 2 Surf - 32 Maps
CS:GO Tier 3 Surf (to be implemented soon)
Rust Modded Server

The servers that we did run before have been repurposed for the layout above and completely re-written to make your experience as a player and in our community better.

All the servers have all the same plugins minus the old store. I will be implementing a new store along with a multitude of goodies once that comes online. You may notice a locked server every now and then, that's me trying to build the new store ;)

Scheduled Downtime

Tomorrow there will be some downtime up to a few hours while I work on server upgrades as well as enhanced performance and security changes. During this time the CS:GO servers, Rust server, and TeamSpeak will be down temporarily. The Website will still remain online and functional during this time.

Rust!

I am pleased to announce that we now have a Rust server along with our CS:GO servers! To visit our server, please search under "Modded" for "Team Ethics" we are Rusty Spoons by Team Ethics on the server browser! Current max is 80 slots but may be more/less pending server performance.

If you experience any issues please bring it to my attention or another Team Ethics administrator so that I can remedy immediately. This includes bugs/racism/etc.

Bhop!

I've just added a new Bhop server to our list of servers. Kitsune has been permanantly removed and replacing it is a new bhop server. We currently have a small list of maps and the plugin that works them is a new plugin so there's a lot of improvements to be made in the future for it.

Please post on the forums (or here) with maps you'd like to see, as well as improvements we could make in general! In the future there will be a rank system but as of now with the plugin in a beta state there is no ranking though that is in the works. As of right now, store is not enabled as I'm adding custom models so be on the lookout for our store to have a few custom models in the future on ALL the servers :D

I will post more details in the future with updates made and the change log will be posted on the forums tomorrow.

The Great News!

So after digging through way too many files, I located the source of all the dumb nonsense that was holding me from relaunching and I am pleased to say the servers are now back online, and should be even more stable than before.

I have fully updated the servers with the latest plugin versions as well as the latest SourceMod version. If you do experience any issues please feel free to comment below or send me a message on Steam.

That said, I do know ranking on Surf_Beginner server is slightly askew for right now, that will be adjusted in the next 24 hours as well once I get with Orson.

Thank you all for dealing with this rough time but I am pleased to say everything should be much better now and I have put things in place to ensure I do not run into this awful error again.

The Good The Bad The Ugly...

As we all know, CS:GO brought out the latest update with a 1gb patch, awesome! New operation!

Bad news. This messed all the Team Ethics servers up.

The good news is I do have all the data backed up and we're safe on that front. The following to that bad news is, I'm having to rebuild the servers from the start again and it can be ~48h to make sure everything is back on track and I sincerely apologize for that delay... It's just something that has to happen as I have a lot of hunting/copy/pasting to do.

I promise I'm doing everything I can to bring these back up as soon as possible for everyone and once again, apologize for the delays/inconvenience as of lately. The latest version of SourceMod, MetaMod, ckSurf, and Multi1v1 will be installed along with the store mod etc. I will make another announcement as soon as I verify all the servers are back in working order and acceptable for you as a player to be back to enjoying!

Server Update/Info

A bit of an update for everyone since it's been awhile and I've incorporated many changes...

Surf Kitsune server is going to be down for a little while as I situate a bhop server which is currently in the works.

I've updated all the surf servers to the latest commits so the bot stops freaking out on new map records.

1v1 server received a map or three last week.

Surf Tier 1 has been slowly growing in map pool. I've been adding 1-3 maps per week, some tier 1, some tier 2 (although easy tier 2's).

No changes to Surf_Beginner.

Hey everyone, just a heads up we now have a 24/7 surf_beginner server that will be up as well :D You can thank Orson for making me do things! To find our 24/7 surf_beginner server, search Team Ethics like normal in your community browser!

Trails and donation tiers will soon be added to the surf servers also. Trails are currently in place on the Tier 1-2 Surf server but alterations may need to be made to accomodate for this change.

Squad Dedicated Server?
